Sevilla could be set to miss out on a permanent deal for Inter Stevan Jovetic as French club Marseille are moving to sign the forward, say reports.
According to RMC, the Ligue 1 side are willing to pay the €14m release clause for the Montenegrin with their sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta, opening discussions with player’s representatives.
Reports in Spain earlier this month stated the Andalucians were unwilling to pay such a high amount for Jovetic, who netted six goals in 21 appearances since his January loan deal from Inter.
The Nerazzurri are reportedly keen to sell players this summer in order to meet FIFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations and freshen their squad.
