Italian giants AC Milan are set to complete a deal for Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio for €18m, according to reports.
Italian newpaper La Gazzetta dello Sport report the fee has been agreed between the clubs and a four-year contract for the 26-year-old at the San Siro is set to be agreed.
Tuttosport earlier this week reported a deal had been struck but noted it was closer to the region of €16m.
The Argentine defender joined the Yellow Submarine from River Plate in 2009 and has gone on to make 275 appearances for the club, netting seven times.
Musacchio was reportedly offered a recent contract extension at Estadio Ceramica, but it now seems as though the player is heading for the Milanese club.
