Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno (left) has criticised the decision to send off Sergio Ramos in El Clasico as ‘very doubtful’.
The Andalucian was dismissed in the 73rd minute for a lunging challenge on Lionel Messi to earn the defender a straight red card from referee Hernandez Hernandez.
"The sending off was very doubtful," Butragueno is quoted as saying by AS.
"The team reacted very well. [Barca keeper Marc-Andre] Ter Stegen made some great saves. Our players did great work. It has been a hard blow.
"I don't believe Ramos did anything towards the referee, I don't know what exactly he was doing.
“Ramos will not be at Riazor, [Gareth] Bale has been injured and we will have to see who is there. We have another final in La Coruna."
