Norway Coach Lars Lagerback has hit out at the ‘pure theatre’ of Barcelona striker Luis Suarez in Wednesday’s win over Paris Saint-Germain.
The Uruguayan – who had been booked for diving fifteen minutes earlier – went down easily under a non-existent challenge from Marquinhos to earn a late penalty to keep Barca’s comeback on track, but the Swede hit out at such playacting.
"It is nonsense that everything is decided by a dive," Lagerback is quoted as saying by Marca.
"I feel sad and sorry for the world of football.
"I'm so angry. It is a piece of pure Suarez theatre. Why do we have officials beside the goal if they can't see these things?"
