Victor Sanchez del Amo has called on his Real Betis side to ‘keep moving in the right direction’ with performances but to be more clinical in front of goal.
Los Verdiblancos travel to Deportivo La Coruna on Wednesday evening in a rearranged La Liga clash from last month, with Victor managing his first ever game against his old club while Pepe Mel takes on ex-club Betis for the first time as Depor Coach.
"The loss against La Real was really disappointing so it is good to have the opportunity to bounce-back with this game relatively quickly,” Victor is quoted as saying by Marca.
“How do we view this match? It’s a chance to immediately restore results and ensure we win our second successive away match.
“Pepe Mel has come into Depor and immediately improved results, which isn’t unusual when a new manager comes into a club and we expect this affect will still be strong for this fixture.
“We aware this will be a complicated match – intense and tough, but we are hoping to find a way to victory and we believe we can achieve this.
“We have not had regularity in results but our team now have clear ideas of how to play and compete, we are moving in the right direction.”
