Croatian midfielder Alen Halilovic is returning to La Liga after he agreed an 18-month loan deal with Las Palmas from German side Hamburg.
The 20-year-old left Catalonia in summer but has failed to make a first team appearance for the Bundesliga outfit since October, and the loan includes an option for Los Amarillos to make the deal permanent in the summer.
"If both parties are not happy with the situation, you have to look for a solution," Hamburg's sporting director Jens Todt told the club's website after the deal was concluded.
"We wish Alen all the best during his time at Las Palmas."
Las Palmas, who are also confident of a deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese, said: "Las Palmas and Hamburg have today agreed a loan deal for Croatia international Alen Halilovic until the end of the 2017-18 season. In the loan contract the club reserves an option to buy the 20-year-old."
