Deportivo La Coruna have signed Gael Kakuta on loan from Hebei China Fortune for the remainder of the season.
The French winger moved to China in February last year after a six-month stint at Sevilla but he will now return to La Liga to play for his third Spanish club, having also played for Rayo Vallecano.
Kakuta spent six seasons at Chelsea but was mainly out on loan at other clubs during this time – including Bolton, Vitesse, Lazio and Rayo – before moving to Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan in 2015.
However, the 25-year-old made only five appearances across six months in Andalucia and made the move to China last season.
He becomes Depor’s second signing of the month following the arrival of Ola John and comes less than a month after the departure of Ryan Babel.
