La Liga chief Javier Tebas appears to have accidentally mentioned the name of the new Atletico Madrid stadium.
Los Rojiblancos are moving out of their Vicente Calderon home at the end of the season to a new stadium in Spain’s capital, although it is not yet known what it will be called.
“Atleti are going to bring us to see the Estadio de Madrid, or the Wanda, as it may be better said,” revealed Tebas at a press event on Thursday.
It’s not yet known if Tebas was joking or serious, when making the comment, although the club have made no official statement as yet.
Wanda Property Group bought 20% of Atletico in January 2015 and the company’s chairman, Wang Jianlin, is China’s second richest man.
