Valencia Coach Pako Ayestaran doesn’t see Dani Parejo at the ‘point of no return’ despite the midfielder’s desire to move to Sevilla.
Parejo was ordered to train away from his teammates as a result of his campaign to be allowed to go to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and condemned for his behaviour by sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch, but Ayestaran sees a way back.
“I don’t understand this as a point of no return and he can continue. I have confidence that he has time to assimilate. I’m convinced he can be an important player for the club. We have no intention of getting rid of him, because if you want to compete you have to do it with good players and he is a good player. I’d say a great player,” Ayestaran considered, Super Deporte reports.
“The club is clear in wanting Parejo here and we have no intention of selling. The club has already said everything there is to say.”
