Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo is set for a loan move to Middlesbrough after talks between Los Che and the Premier League new boys.
Sky Sports says Negredo will fly in to Teeside this week for a medical once an agreement has been reached between the clubs but it’s felt the two parties are close and it could be done by the end of the week.
Negredo would become ‘Boro’s second Spanish signing after the free transfer capture of former Barcelona and Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes, while Negredo has Premier League experience from a year at Manchester City.
