An agent has claimed Real Madrid have made respective offers to West Ham and Leicester City for France internationals Dmitri Payet and N’Golo Kante.
Fichajes.net claims to have been told by Francois Gallardo that Los Blancos have bid €50m for Payet and €30m for Kante, the approaches coming at the request of Zinedine Zidane.
If Payet is brought to Santiago Bernabeu then James Rodriguez will be sold to make way, the report claims, but if Madrid miss out on Payet then James will get another chance.
Kante, meanwhile, is a specific request of the Coach as Zizou wants two midfielders capable of winning the ball back and as his squad stands, only Casemiro fits that bill.
Madrid are hopeful of wrapping up at least one of the two Frenchmen before the end of Euro 2016 and want to act quickly so as to get the transfers completed before an expected FIFA transfer ban.
