The agent of Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez confirms ‘offers from top teams’ that meet his €20m clause but he wants the club’s consent.
Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, Lucas’ representative, went on to suggest that there will be movement after the season has fully finished, with the Champions League and Euro 2016 still to come.
“There are offers from top teams, who play in the Champions League next year. We won’t go without Depor’s agreement. There are offers to pay the clause, but we won’t do that. Lucas is a Depor fan and from A Coruna and if the club don’t want him to leave, he’ll remain,” Lovelle said, AS reports, the publication also naming Leicester, Inter, Sevilla, Napoli and Atletico Madrid as interested parties.
“I speak with Depor constantly, four or five times a week. We all want what is best for Depor. They are happy with Lucas but we also know there are opportunities that can be good for both parties.”
