Javi Gracia expects the unexpected from Rayo Vallecano and says Malaga aren’t going to relax before the end of the season.
Malaga are safe from relegation but Rayo go to La Rosaleda still in danger, but Gracia isn’t expecting an easy time.
“Rayo are a team fighting for the points because they need them. They score quite a few goals but their goals against is very high. I don’t remember when they last won away but they’ve drawn a few,” Gracia commented, AS reports.
“They lost 1-0 to Athletic Bilbao but had a lot of chances. They’re unpredictable games because they’re open with their style of play and a lot of chances on goal. They’re aggressive, man-to-man marking and we have to seize on the spaces that creates.”
Malaga are, by contrast, comfortable in mid-table, but Gracia insists that doesn’t mean his side will relax.
“For me that word doesn’t exist. There’s a lot of teams level and one point can be five or six places higher or lower,” he pointed out.
