Reports in France say Sevilla winger Gael Kakuta will be the next departure to Chinese football, with Hebei Fortune a possibility.
Estadio Deportivo cites France Football as claiming Kakuta will make the move in the wake of Jackson Martinez, who left Atletico Madrid for Guangzhou Evergrande on Tuesday.
Hebei Fortune were also bidding for the Colombia international and may be about to land Kakuta, Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi having confirmed it was a possibility.
Kakuta hasn’t been included in Sevilla’s squad for the Copa del Rey semi-final against Celta Vigo, despite having been a regular in the tournament, and France Football say he is to undergo a medical with Hebei instead.
Former Sevilla midfielder Stephane Mbia has just joined Hebei as well, and Roma forward Gervinho made the move in January.
Sevilla will get €6m if Kakuta does leave, having paid Chelse €3.5m for the midfielder last summer before injuries afflicted his time at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
