Real Madrid reportedly plan on tying up deals for Ricardo Rodriguez, Leroy Sane and Rodrigo Bentancur, while Robert Lewandowski remains a summer target.
According to Marca, first on the list is Wolfsburg left-back Rodriguez, whom the newspaper claims has been identified as the ideal alternative to Marcelo.
He is also believed to warrant a €30m asking price, which Los Blancos are happy to meet, but the Germans will not sanction a sale in January.
Elsewhere, Sane continues to be the subject of a two-way tussle between Madrid and Barcelona, although the Royal Blues are holding out for €50m and do not want to lose the attacker yet.
However, a €10m deal has reportedly been agreed with Boca Juniors for Bentancur, and the midfielder is expected to stay at his current club until the end of the season.
AS, on the other hand, believe Madrid are ready to go one further and all out in their bid to sign Lewandowski this summer, providing their transfer ban for the next two windows is adjourned.
Despite reports of a €100m bid from Paris Saint-Germain, Los Merengues remain very much interested in the Bayern Munich striker, his agent telling L’Equipe on Friday: “I haven’t spoken to [new Coach Carlo] Ancelotti or [President Karl-Heinz] Rummenigge about will happen next season.
“Nonetheless, I’ll meet with the President in a few days and we’ll know a little more.”
As for outgoings, Madrid are happy to let youth graduates Nacho Fernandez, Denis Cheryshev and Lucas Vazquez all leave the club, although the club will only consider selling the trio if their FIFA appeal is successful.
AS reports Vazquez is the nearest to the exit door, with Depor President Tino Fernandez already understood to have opened talks about loaning him for the rest of the season.
