Espanyol are reportedly set to sign two players on loan from Premier League champions Chelsea – Christian Atsu and Papy Djilobodji.
Sport reports talks between the clubs over winger Atsu, on Everton’s books last season and Bournemouth’s for the first half of the current campaign, and Djilobodji, a centre-back signed in the summer from Nantes.
There has been interest from other clubs in the players, mostly Atsu, who was close to Espanyol last week before the club halted the transfers to consider other options.
A double move was then broached involving Djilobodji, but he has an offer from Werder Bremen as well.
