Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he is certain that Real Madrid will have their FIFA-imposed transfer ban overturned.
Los Blancos have provisionally been banned from signing new players for the next two transfer windows after breaking rules on minors, but the Frenchman believes the club will successfully appeal the ruling.
“I thought a bit like that [a spike in transfer dealings] when I heard the news,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“Straight away they will appeal, the appeal will cancel the ban and they will be allowed to buy in the next two transfer windows like they did before. That’s what will happen.”
