Deportivo La Coruna Coach Victor Sanchez isn’t expecting Mirandes to roll over in the second leg of their Copa del Rey meeting.
The score stands at 1-1 from the first leg and despite being a division higher than their opponents, Victor has told Depor to be wary of Mirandes’ away form.
“We have to be careful and keep in mind that regardless of the outcome of the first leg, we will have to do a lot of work at Riazor,” he told the Press, AS reports.
“We can’t trust anything. We have a lot of respect for the opponent, we’re sure that they will come to win the tie. We’ll have to compete very well to beat them.
“Mirandes will play exactly like they did at home. Nothing will change in any of their dynamics, nor their attitude, or system or way they play. In fact, they have phenomenal statistics in away games.
“We have a lot of hope for this competition. We’ll see if we can get further, the further the better. But for that the Mirandes game is vital.”
