Espanyol boss Constantin Galca says he is open to Luis Enrique's suggestion of a chat before next week's Copa del Rey last-16 second leg against Barcelona.
Enrique suggested speaking to Galca in the wake of Barca's 4-0 victory over Granada on Saturday, providing the Romanian was happy to return the favour, and he has now given the idea his approval.
“I'm open to [a chat with Enrique],” he said ahead of Sunday's trip to Eibar in La Liga.
“Still, I care more about what happens on the pitch than what happens off it.
“Everyone is free to think what they like. For us, it's important that everything is positive, both in a sporting and non-sporting sense.
“[On Gerard Pique's remarks about Espanyol fans], I won't say anything.
“Things don't have to go beyond the pitch. [Football] is a sport, nothing more.
“I've tried to isolate the squad from everything which happened in the derby because what happens on the pitch should stay on it.”
