Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez has been named La Liga's Player of the Month for December.
The 27-year-old took his tally for the season up to 12 goals last month, having scored three times against Sevilla, Barcelona and Eibar.
Justifying its decision, La Liga's official website commended Lucas' “great form, his scoring abiliy and potency, which make him one of the most feared attackers in the division.”
Real Valladolid winger Juan Villar, meanwhile, landed the La Segunda gong.
