Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric will all be sold by Real Madrid this summer, an agent has claimed.
Francois Gallardo has told Fichajes.net that Los Blancos will let go of up to nine players at the end of the season, including some of the heavyweights of the locker room.
It’s claimed that Ronaldo’s exit was finalised in late December and following him out the door at Santiago Bernabeu will be Ramos and Modric.
Ramos could follow Pep Guardiola to his next destination – expected to be Manchester City but Manchester United remain in the hunt – as Guardiola has long been an admirer of the Madrid captain.
It’s alleged Madrid want to sell Ramos and will accept offers between €60m and €80m, even though it was only last summer that he renewed his contract with the club.
Modric is also on the outs, though no destination is suggested, but there is a feeling at Madrid that his performances have declined this season.
The suggestion is that the clear-out is being orchestrated by President Florentino Perez, who wants to overhaul the squad.
Alvaro Arbeloa and Lucas Vazquez are two other names mentioned as being made available.
