Javi Gracia believes Malaga have what it takes to keep winning after Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo in La Liga.
The Andalucians achieved their fourth consecutive League win thanks to goals from Charles and Raul Albentosa, despite Nordin Amrabat’s missed penalty, a result which also moved the side into the top half of the table.
“I think our streak will continue,” the Coach said after the game.
“Our performances and attitude have allowed us to go on this run.
“Four consecutive victories isn’t easy, especially against opponents of [Celta’s] stature.
“This is a further injection of morale and confidence.
“We’re doing everything at much higher level now, and this creates tranquillity.
“By the end [of the game], the players showed many things they’d done in training.
“Hard work is the only way to achieve things.
“[On Amrabat’s missed penalty], we’ll have to practice more.
“Now more than ever, I want to acknowledge his work and what he’s been doing.
“He is very important to us and played very well [against Celta], goal or not.
“There will come a time when he starts scoring.”
