Dani Guiza vows Cadiz will give Real Madrid a game but admits it’s difficult when the Santiago Bernabeu leg is considered.
Guiza, a veteran of the Spain squad that won Euro 2008, has been with Cadiz since the summer after ending a spell in Paraguay with Cerro Porteno, and predicting a fighting performance from the Segunda B side.
“We are Cadiz and we won’t surrender. We know Madrid are one of the biggest teams in the world but we have to fight,” he said, Marca reports.
“If it was a one-off game, at El Carranza, we would have a lot of possibilities, but the Bernabeu is very complicated. We have done well in the Cup though.
“My dream is to play every game and if I’m not I have to hope for minutes. You have to give everything whether you’re experienced or not.
“We’d come out with a lot of confidence from a good game against Madrid.”
