Barcelona could sell Alen Halilovic next summer as he’s a player who will raise cash and isn’t in the club’s immediate plans.
Sport cites the examples of Gerard Deulofeu, Adama Traore and Denis Suarez, who were all transferred out of Camp Nou in 2015 on deals that contain buyback clauses.
Halilovic could follow suit as though he is in the club’s ‘near-future’ plans, Sport say, the policy is to sell anyone not in the plans for the coming season and that is still too soon for the Croatian starlet.
Barca don’t doubt the ability of the 19-year-old and he has impressed while on loan at Sporting Gijon, but he’s unlikely to be added to the first team for 2016-17.
The Catalans will in that case listen to offers for Halilovic, but the buyback option is non-negotiable.
