Neymar insists he isn’t concerned by the challenge of taking more responsibility at Barcelona while Lionel Messi is injured.
The Brazil forward has spoken to Mundo Deportivo about his situation at Camp Nou, with the newspaper enquiring as to his role at the club with Messi on the sidelines.
“I’ve always assumed responsibility, since childhood, at Santos, with the national team,” he pointed out.
“Here it’s different. We know our responsibilities, what to do on the pitch, and I will do everything to help my teammates.
“The challenge doesn’t scare me at all, even though I know it is difficult. Leo is doing well. His injury is delicate but he looks good to me and very happy with his recovery.”
