Sofiane Feghouli has admitted speaking to Barcelona but insists his priority is extending his contract with Valencia.
The Algerian winger has been touted as a possible replacement for Pedro Rodriguez, given his deal at Mestalla expires this summer, but – while giving credence to the speculation – he made it clear that staying with Los Che would be his first option.
“My agent has been in contact with Barcelona,” he told La Dauphine.
“However, I'm only focused on playing and doing well in [Valencia's] next matches.
“Talks are under way [with Valencia over a renewal]. I feel comfortable here and have expressed a desire to stay.
Mundo Deportivo claims Barca are also interested in Feghouli's Valencia teammate Shkodran Mustafi.
