Barcelona technical director Roberto has discussed Paul Pogba, Gerson, Alen Halilovic, Sergi Samper and Adama Traore.
Having also revealed a belief Pedro Rodriguez and Adriano will stay at Camp Nou, Roberto offered an insight into a host of other names.
“What we have done [regarding Roma-bound Gerson] is to ensure that at any time we can take an option on him,” Roberto explained, Sport reports.
“If anyone else wants him we can always decide whether we want to bring him here or not.
“Pogba? At the moment there are no options. Clearly he is a great player. The meeting we had with Juventus was to discuss every move we might make regarding the elections.
“We couldn’t show a sense of weakness to other clubs.
“Adama has a €6m clause and it’s clear there are clubs who might take it. He might leave but that’s something for him to decide. That’s what the market is.
“In principle Samper will be with the reserves, with the option of coming into the first team.
“Halilovic will be loaned. We’re looking for the best option for him, a team where he can really grow.
“In principle [Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez] will be in the first team.”
Roberto moved on to his relationship with Luis Enrique, describing the importance of having the Coach’s agreement regarding transfers.
“The relationship is good, and that’s why I’m here, but I won’t make a decision alone,” he insisted, adding that any home-grown player who leaves will have a buy-back option included in the arrangement.
“We have to agree on the signings.”
