Deportivo La Coruna have signed Valencia winger Fede Cartabia on a season-long loan and are closing in on a permanent deal for Lucas Perez.
The Argentine spent last season on loan at relegated Cordoba and will spend another term away from Mestalla, this time with Victor Sanchez’s men, who stayed up by the skin of their teeth.
He departed Los Che’s German training camp on Thursday night to meet up with his new teammates in A Coruna, where he will also undergo a medical.
Depor are also on the verge of retaining Lucas Perez following the midfielder’s successful loan spell at Riazor in 2014-15.
The 26-year-old is understood by EFE to have agreed a four-year contract with the Galicians, who must now look to agree a fee with the player’s parent club PAOK.
