Jack Harper, a 19-year-old who came through the ranks at Real Madrid, has left Los Blancos for Championship Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Guardian reports an undisclosed fee was agreed between the clubs for the forward, who will sign a two-year contract.
Harper had offers from the Premier League, it’s noted, and departed Santiago Bernabeu after Madrid chose to do away with their C team.
Scotland youth international Harper was latterly part of the Juvenil A squad and the C team would have been his next step.
Madrid offered Harper a contract with Real Madrid Castilla or a loan spell elsewhere, but he declined to move on to pastures new.
