Only the final details of a medical are separating Valencia from the signing of Australia goalkeeper Matthew Ryan.
Ryan – who holds a British passport – is currently on the books of Club Brugge but Super Deporte say he will join Los Che once the formalities are completed.
The 23-year-old could even train with his new club on Tuesday evening as his medical should be completed earlier in the day.
Valencia have spent most of the summer searching for a goalkeeper after Diego Alves suffered a serious knee injury on the last day of the season that is likely to keep him out of action for the duration of 2015.
