Josep Bartomeu is open to the idea of allowing Arda Turan to leave Barcelona on loan until January, should he be re-elected as President.
It was confirmed yesterday that Turan, along with fellow new Blaugrana signing Aleix Vidal, would not be allowed to play in friendly matches as well as competitive ones until the end of the European champions’ transfer embargo, which ends in the New Year.
“This is a possibility,” Bartomeu told radio station El Mon earlier on Thursday. “But the final decision must be made by the Coach and it must be a purely technical decision.
“It must be a team not playing in the Champions League.”
Bartomeu also went on to explain that, of the two new signings, only Turan would potentially leave the club temporarily. This is due to the fact Vidal ‘has already decided to stay and train with the squad.’
