Emiliano Insua has joined German side Stuttgart on a free transfer after mutually terminating his contract with Atletico Madrid.
The Argentine left-back fell out of the first-team picture at the Vicente Calderon, spending last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano.
Consequently, he has been allowed to continue his career in Germany, the 26-year-old signing a three-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
Insua started his career with Boca Juniors, before moving to Liverpool, Galatasaray and Sporting Lisbon, whom he left for Atleti in January 2013.
