Joao Miranda says he chose to join Inter partly because of advice from his current Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.
The Brazilian defender is currently in Milan, having undergone a medical, finalising details of his move to San Siro.
“I spoke to Simeone, who told me it is a great club,” Miranda told reporters.
“Why Inter? My target was to try a new challenge, Inter is a great team and also a great challenge.
“Will it be a great season? Yes, I think so.”
