Valencia have made their second signing in a day with the reported €16.5m capture of Sao Paulo midfielder Rodrigo Caio.
Hot on the heels of Andre Gomes’ permanent transfer, Los Che have dipped back into the market for the Brazilian starlet [pictured, left], as confirmed by their official website on Friday night.
The 21-year-old, represented by super-agent and Valencia advisor Jorge Mendes, is now due at Mestalla for a medical, before putting pen to paper on a contract.
Marca claims the initial fee could be as high as €12.5m, with a further €4m in add-ons lined up.
Caio, who plays as a holding midfielder, was also linked with Atletico Madrid.
