Valencia owner Peter Lim has paid tribute to the club’s fans, describing them as “different” after attending the 3-0 win over Levante on Monday.
The Singapore businessman took over Los Che last October and told the Straits Times that he is delighted with the acquisition.
“The experience has been very good so far. We’ve taken over a club with very positive people who are willing to work hard to take us to the very top,” he commented.
“As you saw against Levante, the Valencia fans are very different. They are really passionate and as far as football is concerned I’m enjoying the games very much.
“Spanish football is in a League of its own and is very competitive. All our goals were the result of excellent teamwork. The whole team played well and put the episode in Bilbao behind them.
“Valencia Football Club is an important part in the life of the people of Valencia,” he maintained.
