The RFEF’s Competition Committee has revoked Cristiano Ronaldo’s yellow-card suspension, meaning he can feature in Real Madrid-Eibar on Saturday.
The forward was due to miss the visit of the Basques after he was wrongly booked for simulation by Mario Melero Lopez during Los Blancos’ 2-0 win at Rayo Vallecano in the week.
Nonetheless, the Committee has since considered the statement of appeal sent by Madrid, along with photographs of the incident, and agreed to overturn the ban.
Ronaldo is now expected to start the match at the Santiago Bernabeu, but question marks hang over the condition of Gareth Bale’s bruised left foot.
