David Moyes declared himself pleased with his Real Sociedad team’s display in the 2-0 home Copa del Rey victory over Real Oviedo.
Two goals from Icelandic striker Alfreo Finnbogason rounded off a 2-0 aggregate win to set up a last 16 clash with Villarreal, and the Scot said he hoped his side had saved more goals for Saturday’s clash with Levante.
“I was happy to overcome Oviedo and hope there are more goals to come at the weekend,” the former Everton and Manchester United boss told reporters.
“I expected a bigger difference against a Segunda B side but I’m pleased with the score and with Finnbogason’s two goals.
“We had to withstand some pressure after we’d scored the second and Oviedo did well.
“However, we must now concentrate on getting away from the relegation zone before thinking about the next round of the competition in January.”
