Valencia President Amadeo Salvo is set to announce whether he will be staying with club under new owner Peter Lim.
The arrival of the Singaporean businessman will herald certain organisational changes within the club, although Lim and his representatives have asked Salvo to continue working at the Mestalla.
Although it is not clear what role the current President would occupy, it appears he could be appointed to a senior position on the club’s board, which would be renewed annually.
AS claims that Salvo will not become an employee of Lim’s company Meriton Holdings, which will officially become the owner of Valencia on Monday, but will instead be employed by the club itself.
Salvo’s final decision could be made as early as Thursday afternoon or Friday morning, although the new executive team in place will not start work before next week.
Meanwhile, owner Lim is expected in Valencia this weekend, where he is due to attend the match with Barcelona on Sunday.
