Deportivo La Coruna Coach Victor Fernandez is hoping to use tonight’s trip to Eibar as a turning point for his team’s season.
Newly-promoted Depor have yet to win a game on their return to the top flight but Fernandez told his pre-match Press conference that if they can break their duck at Ipurua, they can go from strength-to-strength.
“For me this match will be a major turning point. A win will give what we’re doing a major boost,” he said, according to Marca.
“It will be a different game from those we’ve played so far and it’s a more developed Deportivo.
“We will have to be brave regardless of playing at Ipurua, which is difficult.
“Our team have to get to know each other better. We’ll play tomorrow without having played in a while and at this level, that’s a handicap.
“Eibar are the same as last year but for three players.”
