Victor Fernandez believes Deportivo La Coruna deserved to draw with Granada on their return to La Liga.
The newly-promoted side took the lead away at Nuevo Los Carmenes, Ivan Cavaleiro opening the scoring in the first half before Ruben Rochina and Jean-Sylvain Babin gave the points to the home team with second half goals.
“We competed well, the match left me feeling good,” Fernandez said, according to Marca.
“We deserved an equaliser in the last 10 minutes at Granada’s own ground.
“It was a classic clash of the first part of the competition, two teams not at their best. They hurt us with many direct balls and a long passing game.”
