Albert Ferrer has admitted that his Cordoba side face a tough task when they play Real Madrid on Monday.
The newly-promoted outfit travel to Santiago Bernabeu for their first game of the campaign.
But despite the obvious gulf in class, the tactician is looking forward to coming up against the European champions.
“We are looking forward to what will be physically and mentally tough conditions,” he told a Press conference.
“We’re going there to play, and hopefully, if we do, we’ll get something positive out of it.
“Every team that goes to the Bernabeu will play the same way – try and defend well and then make the most of it when they have the ball.
“It’s not going to be easy, but we’re going there with great enthusiasm.”
