Sevilla goalkeeper Beto believes his side arrive in Cardiff in good spirits ahead of the European Super Cup against Real Madrid.
The Europa League champions take on their Champions League-winning rivals in the Welsh capital this evening, but their preparations were almost halted after a severe delay in getting into the UK.
The shot-stopper though, has insisted that his men are ready to take on Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
“We arrived in good spirits – we are travelling to a final,” he told a Press conference.
“It makes no difference what time you get there if you're going to play in something as beautiful as the Super Cup.
“I expect to enjoy [this game] to the full, it took us a lot of work to get here.
“It will be the culmination of last season's work. For us it is something unique. It's the icing on the cake of last season.”
Beto then commented on Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
“Cristiano is the best player in the world; he doesn't need two months of pre-season.
“Intimidate? More than that we respect him, we know him well. But we have our weapons collectively to stop not only Cristiano, but Madrid as well.
“Has Bale surprised me? No, because as well as being a great footballer he is a great athlete.
“He has adapted quickly because of the way Madrid play and the way he plays. It was a perfect move for him.”
