Sevilla goalkeeper Beto insisted his side should be proud of their performance against Real Madrid.
The Andalusians lost 2-0 to Los Blancos in the European Super Cup final, but the shot-stopper thought his men did well.
“I’m proud of what the team did tonight,” he told reporters after the game.
“It just wasn’t possible to beat the team that have the best players in the world.
“We thought we could win, but we leave here with our heads held high.”
