Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique has vowed to treat the club’s B team players as he does the first team and called for Gerard Deulofeu to improve.
Deulofeu has returned to Barca after spending last year on loan at Everton, playing a role in La Blaugrana’s pre-season preparations.
But speaking after Barca were beaten last night by Napoli, Enrique said there is an aspect of the game the winger needs to do a lot of work on.
“For me, all players are equal, the first team is like Barca B, they all wear a Barcelona shirt,” Enrique said, according to Mundo Deportivo.
“I ask things of everyone and they all need to give 1,000% and I like Deulofeu but he needs to improve a lot on the defence.”
