Gael Kakuta is pleased at the prospect of playing in Spain after joining Rayo Vallecano on loan from Chelsea.
Kakuta has been on the fringes at Stamford Bridge and spent time away from the club on loan, with Vallecas his latest port of call, but he is excited at being in La Liga.
“I wanted to come to Spain to play. Rayo has been interested in me for a long time so I decided to come,” AS reports Kakuta as saying at a Press conference.
“Playing here is a big challenge because the Spanish League is the best in the world and has a very technical game. I’m ready.
“I like to move through all the positions of the attack, centre, right or left. I can play anywhere and it’s for [Paco Jemez] to decide.
“I haven’t spoken with the Coach but I want to do my best and I’m ready to play [against Alcorcon] because I’ve been training all July.”
