Barcelona are paying attention to the contractual situation of Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus, reports in Spain and Germany claim.
Mundo Deportivo cites a story from Bild that says Reus this week turned down a new contract with Dortmund.
Dortmund offered Reus a €2m-a-year pay increase and wanted to raise Reus’ buyout clause, which currently stands at €35m and can be activated next year.
Andoni Zubizarreta, currently in England on Barca’s pre-season training camp, is said to have followed the news closely as Reus is on Barca’s shortlist.
It’s suggested by MD that Reus will be Barcelona’s main target for next summer.
