Javi Manquillo has two Premier League teams to choose from as Liverpool join Arsenal in pursuing the Atletico Madrid right-back.
AS reports that the two clubs are jockeying to convince Manquillo his future lies with them as he looks to leave Vicente Calderon.
The Gunners were thought to be in pole position for his signature, with a loan deal mooted, but the Reds have entered the frame – as have Marcelo Bielsa’s Marseille.
But Manquillo is expected to reject the chance to play in France as a move to either bidding English club would also provide Champions League football.
Liverpool tried to get Manquillo in January but Atletico blocked the move, while this summer Arsenal have stepped up their interest.
