Julio Cesar has admitted that it is ‘hard to explain’ what happened to Brazil this evening as they were hammered by Germany.
The Selecao were embarrassed 7-1 by Die Mannschaft in the World Cup semi-final, and the goalkeeper has conceded that he is baffled by the result.
“It’s hard to explain what happened,” he told reporters after the game.
“But we have to recognise how well Germany played.
“Everything was so beautiful until now. We thank the fans for being so amazing.
“We have to go home to our homes, hug our families. It's a sad feeling.”
