Cuadrado plays down Barca move

Colombia winger Juan Cuadrado has hinted he isn’t particularly keen to move to Barcelona, saying he is happy with Fiorentina.

Marca reports that Cuadrado has been identified as a summer signing by the Catalans but the player himself has suggested he isn’t looking to leave his current club.

“I’ve said and I repeat, both my family and I are very good in Florence,” he said.

“Right now I’m focused on the World Cup. Then it’ll be time to think about my future.”

Fiorentina have this summer bought Cuadrado’s full rights from Udinese and he said that the idea of being valued so highly is one that takes some getting used to.

“To cost over €30m is a strange feeling and at first it was amazing,” he admitted.

“But I’m happy. My thinking hasn’t changed.”
