Barcelona and Real Madrid could be set to fight it out for the signature of Juan Manuel Iturbe.
Sport claims both clubs are keen on the Porto winger, who spent last season on loan in Italy with Hellas Verona.
He has since completed a permanent move to Verona, the club paying €15m for his services, but the 20-year-old could be sold for double that amount this summer.
Iturbe helped Verona to a 10th place finish last season, scoring eight goals, and catching the eye of the likes of Roma and Napoli.
But Madrid are said to have been monitoring Iturbe’s progress for the past few months, while Barca are also considering an approach.
Sport claims that the pair could fight it out in a bidding war that would drive the player’s price higher, in scenes reminiscent of the clubs’ pursuit of Neymar.
